Number of ZISU's CSC Project Hits New Record

 

In 2016, teachers from ZISU actively applied for kinds of public projects of China Scholarship Council, which made the admitted number hit  a new record.

 

Professor Yao Mingfa from School of Applied Foreign Languages successfully declared the project of national public senior research scholars, visiting scholars and post-doctoral fellows and he has been the first teacher awarded the project funding in ZISU in recent years. Ma Qi, a teacher from School of Arts, favorably passed the special training project of art talents, and Chen Lan from Institute of Latin American Studies obtained the project funding of the study on international and regional issues and high-level foreign language talents training.

 

According to the result of the 2016 local cooperation project released by CSC, 9 teachers   were admitted, making ZISU be one of the colleges which owned the largest number of selected people in Zhejiang Province.

 

The 2016 “Roc Project” in ZISU has chosen 21 teachers to study abroad. Among them 12 were sponsored by CSC and 9 received the school qualification. 22 teachers were effectively sent abroad in 2016. By the end of September, the ratio of the professional teachers who had had oversea experiences for more than 3 months was increased to 36%, and that those who had studied abroad over 6 months was up to 33.4%.  (English Press Corps  Wu Fan  Cheng Xin)
