The graduation ceremony of the 5th advanced research class for prestigious principals of elementary and secondary schools in Yangtze River Delta region and “together we deepen the curriculum reform” summit was held in ZISU from Nov 6 to Nov 7. This activity is jointly hosted by Secondary Principal Training Center of Ministry of Education, Zhejiang Department of Education and ZISU. Some leaders attended the graduation ceremony, they are: Dai Ruihua, director of Secondary Principal Training Center of Ministry of Education; Ding Tianle, deputy director of Zhejiang Department of Education; Jin Yan, deputy director of Anhui Department of Education; Hong Gang, president of ZISU; Li Jie, deputy director of Personnel Division of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Xu Xiaomei, deputy director of Faculty Office of Jiangsu Department of Education. Jin Yuncheng, the vice president of ZISU, presided over the graduation ceremony.
At the graduation ceremony, Ding Tianle highly praised the accomplishment achieved by the advanced research class for prestigious principals of elementary and secondary schools, and ardently hoped all the trainees could apply what they have learned and gave full play to their influential leading role and establish educator-like idea and sensations. At the same time, he also hopes that the training institutions in four provinces and municipalities could elevate the level of training cooperation, deepen and expand its content, and strengthen international exchanges and cooperation.
Hong Gang pointed out in the graduation ceremony that this summit is not only a platform for principals to display their achievement in the advanced research class, but also an event for education experts from four provinces and municipalities to exchange the most advanced ideas, and it is also the first major activity of the series activities to celebrate ZISU’s 60th anniversary. He eagerly expects guests who concern and support the development of ZISU could actively offer advices and suggestions, and he hopes that the in-depth exchanges and multi-area cooperation will continue in the future by the platform of “advanced research class for prestigious principals of elementary and secondary schools in Yangtze River Delta region”.
It is reported that during the 12th “Five-Year Plan” period, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui cooperated hand in hand to launch 5 sessions of training, which covered more than 670 principals and headmasters. After five years’ joint effort and cooperation, “advanced research class for prestigious principals of elementary and secondary schools in Yangtze River Delta region” has become a famous brand in the field of principal training. The topic for this summit is “together we deepen the curriculum reform”, and supervisors, experts and trainees from four provinces and municipalities exchanged ideas about curriculum reform in tutorial forum, group forum and main forum respectively. More than 400 elementary and secondary principals from four provinces and municipalities attended the activities.
