ZISU Holds the Volunteer Mobilization and Training Meeting for G20 Hangzhou Summit

 

The general training meeting for Hangzhou G20 summit volunteers ZISU session was held in Dream Auditorium of Xiaoheshan Campus on Mar 13. Zhao Fa, deputy secretary of the Party committee attended the meeting and made a mobilization speech. Ma Liyang, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of Hangzhou Municipal, and deputy director of the office of medical and health and volunteer services for the international summit, and Wang Yuejun, the director of Hangzhou municipal volunteer work center, attended the meeting.

 

Zhao Fa pointed out that, in order to be a good G20 volunteer, one need to deeply understand the meaning of voluntary service is constant self-improvement, self promotion and serving the society. Volunteers not only represent an individual, but also represent the school. An outstanding volunteer's elegant demeanor is the school's elegant demeanor. He encouraged the students to take the volunteer training activities seriously, acquired a solid basic skill, and contribute their strength to Hangzhou G20 summit.

 

Ma Liyang hoped students can feel wonders of volunteer service through training, be inspired the initiative to do volunteer work, redouble their enthusiasm for the service of the G20 summit, and finally vie to be outstanding volunteers.
During the mobilization meeting, volunteer representatives read out the "ZISU G20 volunteer service proposal". Volunteers solemnly swear: adhering to the spirit of volunteers, showing the demeanor of ZISU!

 

Volunteer general training is consisted of six courses of "basic concept of volunteers" “Hangzhou history and culture” "the G20 related knowledge" "medical first aid knowledge" "volunteer etiquette and image management" and “volunteer experience sharing”. G20 Hangzhou summit health and voluntary service department carefully selected the outstanding volunteer trainers in related field to teach volunteers related knowledge of the G20 volunteer service. It is reported that during the G20 volunteer recruitment, nearly 1700 students and teachers in ZISU registered, and after the first round of interviews and political examination, a total of 650 volunteers passed the audit and participated in the training.
