The opening ceremony of cross-border e-commerce business college of ZISU and the first session of the council were held on the afternoon of April 21 in Xiaoheshan Campus. President Hong Gang, deputy party secretary Zhao Fa, vice president Cao Renqing and members of the council attended the opening ceremony.
During the opening ceremony, Hong Gang congratulated the foundation of cross-border e-commerce business college, and delivered thanks to friends from all walks of life and all the teachers and students who care and support its construction. He said that carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education not only serves economic and social development, but also is an important way to deepen the teaching reform, improve the quality of talents cultivation, and promote the comprehensive development of students. In recent years, ZISU attaches great importance to innovation and entrepreneurship education, and carries out a lot of fruitful exploration. Setting up cross-border e-commerce business college is not only a beneficial attempt to combine needs of regional economic development and our own characteristics, but also an important starting point to comprehensively carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education.
Hong Gang put forward three requirements for construction of cross-border e-commerce business college: first, the college should put regional economic and social development as the orientation, and innovate talents training mode; second, it should stimulate the students' enthusiasm for entrepreneurship by establishing and improving the support mechanism; third, it need to make university-enterprise, government-enterprise cooperation as the starting point, and try to grasp and strengthen entrepreneurial practice platform. He said that the construction of cross-border e-commerce business college is a major event and also a difficult task. We felt both the heavy responsibility and pressure on our shoulders and the determination and courage to make it. We will take this as a breakthrough, and vigorously promote the innovation and entrepreneurship education, in order to serve cross-border e-commerce of Zhejiang Province better, and to make greater contributions to Zhejiang regional economic and social development.
Zhao Fa, deputy party secretary of ZISU, and dean of cross-border e-commerce business college introduced its basic situation. He said the college will be based on China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area and make full use of resources and good language platform of ZISU, it will introduce advanced business idea and training and practice mode by carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education cooperation with the Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd. and other enterprises and institutions at home and abroad. It will build first-class cross-border e-commerce innovation and entrepreneurship education system in Zhejiang Province , and cultivate application talents who master basic knowledge and basic skills of electronic commerce, who has a strong spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial ability, and who can skillfully use at least a foreign language in cross-border business enterprise and other departments engaged in cross-border e-commerce planning, product design, and the design, development, operation and maintenance of electronic commerce system.

On the eve of the opening ceremony, the council held its first meeting. During the meeting the council charter and cross-border e-commerce business school construction plan were discussed and passed, and the next step in depth cooperation was negotiated.
After the opening ceremony, Wu Changhong, member of the council and director of propaganda department of China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area delivered a special report to youth students with aspiring entrepreneurship with the title of “the prospect of cross-border electronic commerce ".
Cross-border e-commerce college will open cross-border e-commerce "3 + 1"mode entrepreneurial class, cross-border e-commerce "upgrading from junior college" entrepreneurial class, e-commerce major (cross-border e-commerce program) experimental class, and provide 18 credits of cross-border e-commerce practice curriculum modules for ZISU students to choose.
