The graduation ceremony of the first “Zhejiang prestigious teachers and headmasters cultivation program” was held in ZISU on April 28. Hong Gang, president of ZISU and related directors from Office of Teachers of Zhejiang Educational Department and Zhejiang Provincial Training Center for Teachers and Educational Administrators participated the ceremony.

As the chief instructor for English teachers, Hong Gang awarded the trainees certificates in person on the ceremony.

It is reported that “Zhejiang prestigious teachers and headmasters cultivation program” is the highest level training program for teachers and headmaster in elementary and middle schools. The first “Zhejiang prestigious teachers and headmasters cultivation program” undertaken by ZISU enrolled 100 trainees and included five classes: class for headmasters of elementary school, class for Chinese teachers of elementary school, class for math teachers of elementary school, class for Chinese teachers in junior high school, and class for English teachers in senior high school. Good results have been achieved through two years’ training, and 22 of the trainees have been promoted to “special-grade teachers”.
