ZISU Students Won Good Results in the East China Tournament of National Interpreting Competition


The East China tournament of 4th National Interpreting Competition (English) was held on Suiyuan Campus of Nanjing Normal University on May 17, which is hosted by Translators Association of China (TAC) and Jiangsu branch of LSCAT of TAC. Under the careful instruction of Professor Chen Kefang and teacher Ding Xinru, Liu Chang, a student from School of English Language and Culture and a member of Cicero interpretation Club, contested in the competition on behalf of Zhejiang tournament and won an excellent performance of second prize of East China tournament.

 

It is reported that a total of 89 contestants competed in this contest, and all of them are senior grade students or graduate students came from universities of East China region of six provinces and one municipality, including top-rankings from prestigious universities like SISU, SJTU, Fudan University and NJU.
