Teachers of Foreign Languages from ZISU Promotes 2015 International Islands Tourism Conference
The 2015 International Islands Tourism Conference hosted by China National Tourism Administration and People’s Government of Zhejiang Province was held in Zhoushan of Zhejiang on Oct 12 to Oct 14. Some International Tourism Organizations like World Tourism Organization, Pacific Asia Travel Association, and Union of Vanilla Islands attended the conference together with 25 countries and regions contain islands, such as USA, Russia, Peru, French Polynesia, Australia, Greece, Maldives, and Seychelles. Besides, 30 islands cities and more than 1000 domestic and foreign guests from 45 delegations attended this conference. Li Qiang, governor of Zhejiang Province, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, and the vice governor, Liang Liming, jointly presided over the opening ceremony with the celebrity Yang Lan. Invited by the conference and assigned by the higher authorities, French teacher Wu Tong, Spanish teacher Zhao Xin and Russian teacher Wu Wei from School of European Languages and Cultures went to Zhoushan, and undertook the important task of conference translation and interpretation. They undertook the whole process of translation of important guests from French speaking countries, Spanish speaking countries and Russian speaking countries. Their precise translation and erudite professionalism won consistent praise from the organizers and foreign friends.
