“Devoted to the study, love one’s teacher; pleased to make friends, believe in one’s learning.” In order to create the “bilingual ability” cultivation characteristic, the School of Chinese Studies held the start ceremony of tutorial ceremony on Xiaoheshan Campus in the afternoon of Oct 29.
 Aiming at improving students’ comprehensive quality and practical creativity, School of Chinese proposed and implemented the tutorial system, cultivated high quality talents with “international vision and patriotism” by means of practice cultivation and professional development planning.
 At the start ceremony, related directors from School of Chinese Studies hoped all students could pay attention to their diversified development, study in a modest and perseverant way, and became an overall talent with spirit of independence and characteristic of freedom.
 Dressed in traditional Chinese clothes, the freshmen of Chinese major reviewed the classical works and read aloud the apprentice card and give them to the tutors with both hands. Tutors present “Standards for Students” in return. After the ceremony, all teachers and students recited “Standards for Students” in unison.
