The second seminar of course construction and teaching meeting for foreign language majors were held in ZISU from Dec 4 to Dec 5, which is jointly hosted by ZISU and Beijing Foreign Studies University. Cao Renqing, vice president of ZISU and Jia Wenjian, vice president of Beijing Foreign Studies University, attended the meeting.
Cao Renqing delivered a welcome speech on behalf of ZISU. He introduced the history of ZISU and breakthrough ZISU has made in discipline construction, characteristic development and personnel training, he hopes high quality cooperation with BFSU will improve the quality of ZISU talent training continually, and lay the foundation for jointly building a platform for the exploration of foreign language course construction and teaching.
Jia Wenjian introduced the attempt of exploring and reforming in foreign languages major course construction and teaching of BFSU, and delivered a speech entitled “reform and practice of talent training mode of compound and international German professionals”.
The contents of this seminar is rich, including reports about foreign language majors course construction from leading experts of four languages of English, German, Italian and French, and classroom video display from excellent teachers of two universities. More than 60 foreign languages experts and teachers from 26 colleges and universities across the country participated in the seminar.
