In order to stimulate the patriotic enthusiasm of students and enhance students' love and honor of ZISU, “Dec 9th movement” memorial chorus competition and the youth role model awarding ceremony was held in the Dream Auditorium recently.
Teams from the School of English Language and Culture and other 8 schools have brought their wonderful programs, which include some popular classical songs, such as “Yingshanhong”, “Return from Target Practice” and “a Folk Song to the Party”, and some English songs full of youthful vigor, such as “You raise me up” “You are my sunshine”. It fully demonstrated the linguistic and cultural features of ZISU, and followed main theme of Chinese socialism at the same time.
During the youth role model awarding ceremony, ZISU awarded the teams and individuals who won in a series of contests, such as the 14th Zhejiang “Challenge Cup—Innovative Xiasha” College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, North Zhejiang Division of “the Power of Faith” Debate Contest, the fifth "Freshmen cup” Chinese and English Speech Contest of “Erudition & Elegant Behavior” Reading Season, the 19th Debate Contest and “the Voice of ZISU” Singing Contest.
Relevant directors and representatives of counselors and students participated in the awarding ceremony.
