Recently, vice president Zhao Qingrong followed Zhejiang Education Delegation to attend the African Confucius Institute construction seminar of Zhejiang Province, which was held in University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, and paid a friendly visit to University of Dar es Salaam and St. Augustine University in Tanzania as well as University of Stellenbosch and University of the Western Cape in South Africa.

In the seminar about African Confucius Institute construction, Zhao Qingrong delivered a keynote speech about the process, method, achievements, current situation of the building of Confucius Institute at the National University of Equatorial Guinea as well as its future assumptions.

After the seminar, Zhao Qingrong followed the delegation, which is headed by Wang Xiaocun, deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Education Department, to visit University of Dar es Salaam, St.Augustine University, University of Stellenbosch, University of the Western Cape as well as Cape Town high school of science and mathematics. They communicated with those universities and schools on issues like education and teaching affairs between China and South Africa, and discussed future cooperation intentions and fields.
